Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers, the short version. If yours isn't here, write to us — a real person replies.

Where do these pieces actually come from?

China — specifically, from named makers we work with directly. We don't use a Western distributor. Your order travels the shortest honest line between the person who made the object and the person who now owns it. That's the whole point of the brand.

Do you really ship from China?

Yes. Every piece ships from the maker's bench. We're upfront about this because most shops hide it; we think it's a feature, not a footnote. It means fairer pay to the maker and a documented provenance you can trust.

How long does delivery take?

Most in-stock pieces are dispatched within 3–5 business days. Transit to North America and Europe is typically 7–14 business days with full tracking. Made-to-order items take longer, and we'll tell you the timeline before you buy.

Will I pay customs or import duties?

Possibly. Import charges depend on your country's rules and are the customer's responsibility unless we state otherwise at checkout. We declare items accurately and provide all paperwork needed for a smooth clearing.

Are these pieces really handmade?

Yes, and provenance-documented. On every product you'll find the maker, the place, the craft, and roughly how long it took. We name the city and the craft; where we can, we name the hands. No "mysterious East" marketing here.

What if I don't like it, or it arrives damaged?

Contact us within 30 days of delivery. Because each item is handmade and one of a kind, we handle returns and exchanges case by case — but we are reasonable people, and damage in transit is always on us.

How do I care for glass and ceramic pieces?

Fragile by nature. Keep out of direct, prolonged sun; dust with a soft dry cloth; don't submerge. Treat it like the thing a person made, because it is.

Do you do wholesale, corporate gifting, or custom runs?

We do. We build branded, boxed, provenance-documented gift runs for distilleries, studios, and corporate clients — from a single hero object to a few hundred. Reach out and we'll scope it with you.

What about packaging and sustainability?

Short supply chain, honest materials, minimal packaging. No Western middleman means fewer miles and less waste per object.
